Very responsive, a great balance of being able to play with a full present, sound yet controlled through all the registers. It has some punch, but not overly, tuning is fantastic, fits on the neck cork perfectly, which custom mouthpieces don’t always do, but this is a very high-quality piece. For section playing and lead alto playing, this has been a pleasure to play.

Arrived earlier than expected, great service

I purchased a Ready-To-Ship New London HR tenor in the green marble a few months back. It replaced an old Berg HR tenor piece I had and I was pleasantly surprised with the improvement in response that the TK New London provided. I ended selling the Berg and invested in a black New London HR tenor as my backup. The black plays just about the same as the green marble (maybe a shade darker), and I am pleased to have become a TK convert. I'm now hoping for a New London HR Ready-To-Ship baritone mouthpiece in a .105 or .110 opening.

Your mouthpieces are really fantastic. Thank you for your generous offer. Now i own 15 of you brilliant mouthpieces. All of them are unique and absolutely worth the price. I just close my lips around them and my sax starts to sing. It's so much fun to play them. My absolute favorites on alto are: New York Model HR, New London and Versitone Tonarmax HR. On Tenor: New London HR, Florida HR and Focus Tone TonarMax. The shipment to Germany was very quickly. Thank you for doing such an excellent job.

I have Ted’s pieces dating back to the early 2000’s. He at the top of a very short list of best mouthpiece refacers and designers; I’ve never played a Klum piece that fell short of being an “end of the search” piece, a piece that-barring neuroses-a person could be happy with for the remained of their career. I currently have seven or eight of his pieces, either his original designs or ones he refaced.
I’ve sold a lit of mouthpieces, but I’ve never sold one that Ted had anything to do with. They’re too good.
Also, Ted can really play, so he knows what’s going to work-he doesn’t guess. Thank you, Ted!
