This is by far the best mouthpiece I have played, it can be very bright and punchy as well as dark, controlled and soft. This model allows for easy subtone and is exactly what I am looking for in my sound on alto.
Really projects extremely well. Great job Ted and Staff! I get such a beautiful tone with Ted Klum "New London Brass M.P" on my Alto Saxophone I also use one ( New London Brass) on my Tenor Saxophone Set up as well. The "London Brass " is so versatile I can play Music on any genre type that I might be playing! If I am playing Standards I can blow freely and a warm jazz sound will project. However if I want really want to push it for 80s pop music i can hit it out of the park in the altissmo range every time with confidence at home plate! In fact I liked the one on my Tenor set so much it only made sense the the same set-up would work for my Alto Saxophone set-up and it did. My logic paid off! I have tried all the others that are mass produced but never had any success with them. Ted Klums Mouthpieces and in this the "The " New London Brass" for Alto Saxophone it truly is just outstanding and consistent Thank You Ted & Staff for everything! Cheers, James
