Florida Lineage Tenor

The Florida Lineage is great!
the sound is warm and clear bottom to high register,articulation very easy,intonation top notch
So,tremendous work in my opinion

This piece is great, wow! All registers of horn speak with ease, evenness and beautiful color. Great sub-tone and articulation is quick. This MP is hard to beat at any price, all of Ted’s brilliance is in this piece.

this is the best modern day mouthpiece I have played. It outplays my 1960s STM. Ted Klum has nothing short of a mastery of mouthpieces.

Plays very well low Bb to altissimo D, subtone and fulltone. A classic, rich, but warm sound..very high quality and the price cant be beat

My piece is a custom facing somewhere between a 5* and 6. It was instantly playable and felt like an old friend. It’s a neutral mouthpiece which I regard as a plus. It’s neither dull nor bright but can be coaxed in either direction with ease. It subtones from top to bottom and it’s not one of those pieces which only responds which a Goldilocks reed on it. A+

I've been using Ted's mouthpieces for at least ten years now, mostly on a FocusTone Precision tenor and an Acoustimax alto. I felt like a change so I ordered a Florida Lineage 7* tenor piece as soon as I saw that they were released. I had played the old Acoustimer tenor and liked it, and I appreciate the proprietry materials (i.e. resins, non-hard rubber) for their hardiness and their even respose and intonation.
I really have to say that the Florida Lineage is excellent. It blows extremely evenly with good depth, response and projection - a balanced sound with guts and good intonation. I am really blown away by how good it is. It seems very reed friendly too.
And it only took 4 days to get to the UK from the USA!
