The TK X model Alto is a high baffle hard rubber model inspired by the rare vintage hard rubber Dukoff D8. Providing plenty of edge and cut this piece is perfect for contemporary, R&B, smooth, jazz, etc.

Phenomenal mouthpiece! Its one of the easiest pieces to play, in spite of the “extreme” baffle. Compared to the well-known jumbo blue piece I was playing, the X is much more even in tone and intonation up and down the horn. The sound is FULL and edgy, not shrill and it sings,but will whisper on a low Bb also. It’s like having a cheat code. I am just a hobbyist, so I need all the help I can get!
